this is a damn good and difficult shot! the red background i got to use some red opaque plastic bag to tie over a flash, then create a snoot from some spare cardboard. wahaha.

the canon logo "disappeared" soon after. whee.

New HOOT. Fujifilm Finepix S5 Pro

ultimate impulse decision. but hope the decision to get it is not a fail one.

lighting my lovely s5pro took a while. below are a few making of.

this is what happens. the blue gel-ed light hits the speaker. speaker side used as black backdrop. i am that broke!

setup without use of any flash. main light is a 580ex, with lightsphere, soften the light up. quite cool. magic arm kit used. cool-ness!

close up of the gel. that "gel" cant take the heat. it MELTED!

so this is the final product, a bit with the wrong flash power and angle. but you get the trick.

next time, when you run out of gels, just find a guardian plastic bag, and do what you need to do!!!
