CANON PHOTO MARATHON!
OMG. too bad. never win anything. ideas are fresh and unique, just not catchy enough to the judges. probably interpretation PHAIL. WHEE SIAN SHIT.
had a hell of a time chionging the entire city hall area with my "enhanced" full battle order. all items were deemed useful. but were conveniently chucked at the studio until the need arises to go get it.
the themes are holy-ed. change, dreams, freedom. OMG.
enjoy the marathon, survive it.
i love my monopod + arm + PW seks.
fun shits that happened during the marathon itself! too bad i never took enough making of shots. coz was too busy trying to get the theme right. sianed.
jeremy showing off 70200 f11. WTF.
the kids have a hand on it!
my turn nia. the focussing is holy sensitive. and very very dark!
attempts to pull the monopod stunt paid off! HOLY SHIT! a lot of people taking pictures of us noobing it out. lol.
finished product. perspective looks not bad!
chionged for first theme, "change", is not this shot. this is just a random shot. haha.
second theme was "dreams", the kids wanted to go to marina barrage. too bad it is STILL closed to public. SIAN. jingwei joined us. we have a holy PA/model/critic/buddy to joke around with. useful when you shagg out from the entire event.
attempts to shoot "DREAMS" with the monopod setup! i wanted to create a top down perspective of her spreading her arms wide with a sense of achievement or whatever you call it from her face. then nice nice. the idea was to raise my vantage point to secure some EPIC-ness in my near-useless photo. KNN.
another attempt. arms failing from unbalanced weight. the 5d is already speed zhng to remove the grip. lol.
one of the better perspectives one. is FUCKING difficult to check your angle, focus, and the weight. knn. not bad la. considering the photographer has no means of getting onto a raised platform, the monopod is the best! WHEE.
3rd theme was "freedom" got sianed. brain dead and called slc for some support. he mentioned something about studio giving the photographer absolute control and angle. wanted to adjust the lights, but in the end settled for multiple camera angles. is quite a screwed attempt, but manage to pull it off in 30 mintues. quite happy le. lol. so i went to improvise on that. 122 seconds exposure! jingwei has to hold the PW trigger for 122 seconds. lol.
dinner hideout.
thats all! bye.
